Publieke Zaken is looking for several interns to join our team as of February 2025! The internship period will be for 6 months.                    

If you have a demonstrable affinity for and interest in public and political debate, a keen eye and good writing skills, please contact us!

Publieke Zaken is a public affairs consultancy based in The Hague. We advise organizations particularly in the sustainability, climate, energy, agriculture, circular economy and mobility sectors in the development and implementation of their public affairs strategy.

British Embassy The Hague

The British Embassy in The Hague is recruiting 3 Public Diplomacy interns. These internships cover either an events or public affairs track and include opportunities to shadow and support wider bilateral policy work at the embassy.

Prior internships/experience are not a pre-requisite, rather applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have the skills needed to do the job. This can also be through other experiences such as student organisations or jobs done alongside/in-betweens studies. The British Embassy in The Hague uses the UK Civil Service Behaviour framework in interviews. More information about these behaviours can be found here.

The Netherlands Institute of International Affairs Clingendael is an independent think tank and academy for international relations, based in The Hague. The Clingendael Institute is an independent foundation, unaffiliated to any political, activist, commercial, or religious movement. The Institute has three departments: Research, Academy and Corporate Staff. They offer internships in all three of the departments.

International Criminal Court
